‘We’re not a bunch of tourists’: ‘We want to do something for Japan’

Tutti Frutti is an English teacher from Leeds.

She has spent the past five years teaching Japanese to underprivileged pupils in the UK.

Tutti says it is very easy to get into Japan because it is a very safe country.

She says that the UK is a wonderful place to teach children and the teaching experience is much better than the US.

I think the reason why we are doing this in Japan is because we want to help the children and to give them a chance.

I feel very privileged and grateful to be able to teach Japanese to young people.

I am just really looking forward to the future of the Japanese people and how we can help them and our students and their families as well.

I have been a Japanese tutor for three years and I’ve learnt so much and it has been a privilege.
